IU Spring Energy ChallengeEvery semester the IU Office of Sustainability hosts a competition between campus buildings to see who can save the most water and electricity. Building usage is compared not only across campus but also to the building's own baseline values. A team from Net Impact worked with the Office's Energy Challenge intern to re-brand the Fall and Spring Energy Challenge.
My Sister's ClosetMy Sister's Closet is a Bloomington based non-profit that was established to provide free professional attire and training to at risk and low-income women seeking to enter the workforce. All of their clothing is donated and designed to help women fit in at their new workplace. The project team from Net Impact ran a fundraising event using a implementation plan created by a previous Net Impact project team as a guide.

From Pond to PlantThis project worked to try and reduce the effect of IU's heating plant greenhouse gas emissions to meet the goals set out in IUB's 2020 Vision and IU's Bicentennial Priorities. The team worked on a proposal for a $50,000 grant that would cover the set up cost of a bioreactor plant for IU as well as identifying outside funding sources to cover future costs.

Greening Cream & CrimsonTeam members from Net Impact worked off of data collected by a project team from last semester to continue to evaluate data and develop solutions for sustainable waste management at IU sporting events. In part, that meant installing Zero Waste Stations across all IU Athletic Complexes.

Social Investment SeriesThis project was created to help team members learn about the stock market, trading stocks, and smart investing strategy. Most importantly, they were to learn about socially responsible investing (SRI) which is any investment strategy that considers both financial return and positive social benefits. Team members were then tasked with sharing this information with club members and Kelley students.
