By: Trace Weaver Net Impact IU kicked off its spring semester on Monday, January 25th with our semiannual call out meeting! We had a great turnout with tons of students eager to learn more about Net Impact (and eat pizza). President Nathan Manworren talked about all of the different things we do at Net Impact, from guest speakers to community service to social events. Our Vice Presidents and directors emphasized that by sharing their personal experiences with the club. Most importantly, Net Impact is a place where students can form bonds that last a lifetime while also making our planet and better place to live.
In addition to what we do, Nathan also brought up some other ways for students to get involved with Net Impact. Project leaders have the opportunity to lead a group of Net Impacters towards reaching a concrete goal that makes a difference in the community. Being a project leader can be highly rewarding (and is a great thing to put on your resume)! There will also be opportunities for members to post on this very blog, so you can get in on the fun too!
